The predicted salary is between 9.9 - 12.1 Β£ per hour.
Advert Home Care Worker β Extra Care Housing (Temporary) Renfrewshire Health help with preparing breakfast and other meals when necessary and assist service users to maintain and develop their daily living skills and improve independence.
You will require to undertake all relevant training for the post.
It is essential that you have Experience of working in a care setting and delivering intimate personal care or in an informal or personal capacity; have an awareness of a range of long term conditions and have an understanding of the needs of people who require help from care services; be able to demonstrate within your application form that you are reliable and flexible with the ability to work as part of a team.
You will also be required to demonstrate that you can communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) and this would include monitoring and reporting changes in the identified needs of service users including the handling of sensitive information.
It is essential that you have a, positive and professional attitude and an ability to deal with unexpected events or emergency situations.
It is essential that you hold or have the capacity to achieve an SVQ Level 2 in Care or an equivalent qualification at level 5 (SCQF) or above.
You must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or achieve registration within 6 months of your start date.
Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 18 Months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
