Salary: £36,579 - £38,643 per year Contract Type: Permanent Position Type: Full Time Hours: 37 hours per week Advert Renfrewshire Councils, Building Services is looking to recruit Gas Engineers to undertake gas work including repairs, modifications, replacement of gas elements in housing and public buildings.All trade persons should have served a full trade apprenticeship to SVQ level 3 or equivalent and have experience of property maintenance in either, Housing, Schools or Public Buildings. You will have knowledge of all aspects of domestic or commercial gas work.You will have effective communication skills and be able to communicate at all levels. In addition, you will Ability to work to set targets and deadlines and the ability to understand and work to risk assessments and method statements. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative, as part of a team and with a wide range of people.You will be able to adjust to changes in work demands at short notice and be flexible and able to facilitate fluctuating workload.You must be willing to participate in flexible work patterns, out of hours emergency rota and undertake associated work in other trade skills by multi skilling.
