Advert Early Learning & Childcare Officer (Temporary)
Renfrewshire Council is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Early Learning and Childcare Officer.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the provision of a safe, caring and stimulating nursery environment for all children.
- Contribute and implement a relevant curriculum in line with national and local guidance.
- Plan, record, implement and evaluate suitable programmes of activities.
- Maintain and record children\’s assessment progress and promote parental participation.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience of working or training in an early learning and childcare setting, with an awareness of assessment and documentation of children’s learning in line with national and local guidance.
- Ability to plan and deliver a relevant and inclusive curriculum; knowledge of child development; and flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
- Hold a relevant practice qualification in early learning and childcare such as HNC in Childhood Practice at SCQF level 7 or SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 7 or equivalent.
- Successful applications must, within the designated timeline, meet the registration requirements of SSSC as Practitioner of Day Care of Children Service.
