The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
You will be required to undertake duties connected with the uplift and delivery of service users to and from day centres and establishments in the Renfrewshire area. You will be expected to perform and complete daily driving and delivery tasks, as defined by management.
Clean and maintain your vehicle weekly, check vehicle daily and report any defects and accidents immediately. It is essential that you hold a current PCV driving licence and are experienced in driving a wide range of vehicle types and tail lift operations. It is also essential to be in possession of an appropriate DCPC qualification.
You should be able to use your initiative and have the ability to work on your own or as part of a team with effective interpersonal and communication skills. You must have experience of dealing with the general public and previous experience of dealing with vulnerable service users would be desirable. Experience of working within a passenger transport service and knowledge of the local area and its facilities is desirable.
The post will normally operate on a day shift pattern. All applicants for this role will be subject to a driving medical examination and driving assessment prior to appointment. Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 6 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
