Community Service Supervisor (Justice Services)

\n This is an exciting opportunity to join our professionally challenging and rewarding
\n justice service. You will carry out a range of duties in relation to the supervision of
\n groups of 5 people with convictions, who will be undertaking unpaid work within the
\n community. This is a seven day a week service and your working days will be
\n subject to rota.
\n It is essential that you have experience of working with the public, including the
\n delivery of a front line service, record keeping and dealing with people from diverse
\n backgrounds. You must be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing;
\n have organisational and time management skills; and the ability to provide effective
\n customer service, including dealing with difficult situations.
\n You will have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative; have a
\n positive view of the welfare of all individuals and social circumstances; and have a
\n responsible approach to sensitive information.
\n Experience of working within a social work setting, gardening and environmental
\n work, DIY and arts and crafts is desirable. A driving licence and experience of
\n driving a minibus (including Cat D), pick-up trucks and trailers is also desirable.
\n Full training and support will be given to ensure that you are able to maintain the
\n Renfrewshire Children’s Services commitment to continuous improvement.
\n Availability to work weekends is essential.
