The predicted salary is between 27450 - 33550 £ per year.
We are looking for a Community Learning and Development Worker who will be employed to support youth and community-based activities throughout the year. You will be supporting our communities to be strong, with a voice and the capacity to shape and build on strengths and assets.
Working as part of a team, you will work with individuals, groups and communities in neighbourhoods across Renfrewshire, including:
- Youth voice programmes
- Youth projects and events
- Holiday programmes
- Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Programme
- Community projects
- Working with volunteers
It is essential that you have experience in working with people; strong communication skills; a positive and flexible approach to work; and are open to learning new skills. It would be advantageous to have any of the following:
- IT skills
- Specialist areas of work (e.g. drama, crafts, outdoor, etc.)
- A clean driving licence and experience of driving minibuses (D1)
- Outdoor qualifications
- Volunteering experience
All applicants will be subject to Disclosure Scotland PVG scheme and be offered mandatory training to assist staff in their role.
