Riverbrae school is looking for a cleaner. The main duties of this post include providing a cleaning service to staff, students and members of the community in an educational establishment, ensuring that facilities are kept in a clean and hygienic condition to maintain a safe environment for all users of the school.

It is essential you have an understanding of the role, especially the needs of children and young people with Additional Support Needs, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues throughout the establishment, and the ability to undertake Keyworker responsibilities.

You must have a courteous approach at all times to children, young people, relatives, staff and others, be flexible as well as adaptable, and enjoy working with children and young people. Literacy skills are also essential.

Previous experience working with children with additional support needs is desirable but not essential. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
