The predicted salary is between 20000 - 28000 £ per year.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who will be required to provide a caretaking service at any of our high-rise blocks including external launderettes with particular reference to customer care.
The main duties for this post include:
- Responding to queries from tenants, members of the public and other internal/external partners
- Cleaning and maintaining standards within the locations
- Record keeping
- Report writing
- Security patrols
- Monitoring CCTV
- Cleaning and reporting repairs to the Neighbourhood Office
You should have experience of working with the public, general cleaning and clerical duties with the ability to compile accurate records and write reports in relation to incidents that occur. You must be able to communicate effectively with council staff and external agencies, have effective organisational skills and have an awareness of health and safety practice.
You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team; be able to respond to a variety of demands without direct supervision and be flexible to work at various work locations. You must be prepared to work outwith normal working hours which includes evenings and weekends.
A current driving licence and customer care training are desirable. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
