The predicted salary is between 30000 - 50000 Β£ per year.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide a range of services to individuals and their families experiencing alcohol related problems; establish links with other agencies and professionals in relation to joint working, provide advice and guidance for individuals, families and groups known to the Social Work Service, liaise with appropriate agencies on behalf of clients, undertake needs assessments and promote the work of the team.
You must hold either a BA (Hons) in Social Work, PGDip in Social Work or MSW in Social Work; be registered with the SSSC; have experience of working with relevant IT packages and dealing with clients who have substance misuse problems; possess sound assessment and interpersonal skills; have knowledge of current Council policy and statutory legislation; and the ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing), work on your own initiative, and prioritise your own workload. You must also be able to work outwith normal hours if required.
