The Renfrew County and District Health Unit has an opening for one (1) temporary Public Health Inspector.

Qualifications Skills and experience:

  • Certificate in Public Health Inspection – (Canada)
  • B.Sc. (Environment) or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of Health Protection and Promotion Act and relevant regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
  • Acceptable vulnerable sector check required
  • Proof that you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Valid Ontario ‘G’ Driver’s License and own vehicle required

Location: Pembroke Office (on-site)

Term: From February 23 until August 31, 2026

Hourly Rate: $43.48 to $49.95 plus prorated vacation time and 14% in-Lieu of Benefits.
