We are looking for a Bandsaw Operator with Overhead Crane experience in the Stourbirdge area of Birmingham to join a busy team in the steel manufacturing industry. This will be a permanent position after a successful trial period.

Duties
- Operating Bandsaw machinery to cut carbon steels
- Loading and unloading materials using an overhead crane
- Following set cutting instructions and job sheets
- Inspecting finished cuts for accuracy and quality
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Assisting with general engineering tasks during quieter periods
- Basic machine checks and routine upkeep (no advanced setting required)
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience operating Bandsaws (essential)
- Overhead Crane experience (essential)
- Good numeracy and literacy
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable, teamfocused, and safetyconscious
Hours of Work:
- Monday - Thursday: 07:45 - 16:45
- Friday: 07:45 - 15:45
Rate of Pay:
- Starting from £12.87 per hour Depending on experience
- £17.15 per hour overtime after 41.5 hours
- £19.30 per hour Saturday overtime
