We're looking for a Warehouse Operative (Picker/Packer) to join a busy team in the distribution industry. This is a handson role supporting the warehouse and production teams with the picking, preparation and packing of customer and wholesale orders.
Due to the location, you will need your own transport.

Duties:
- Printing and organising the day's picking tickets
- Picking customer orders accurately using a paperbased system
- Delivering picked goods to the Production Team in a timely manner
- Checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the Production Manager
- Helping ensure shortages are identified early so replacement stock can be ordered
- Maintaining a tidy, organised and efficient working area
- Packing items from picked components ready for dispatch
- Packing products carefully and securely
- Ensuring orders are completed accurately and to the required standard
- Checking finished products before dispatch
- Working efficiently to meet daily dispatch deadlines
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines
- Able to multitask and manage changing priorities
- Physically active and comfortable in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Works effectively as part of a team
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday (some weekends during busy periods)
- 8:30am - 5:30pm
Rate of Pay:
- £12.71 per hour
