We are a quickly growing company who specialise in the installation of renewable products such as air source heat pumps, battery storage and solar panels. We look to provide high quality products and install them to a very high standard to ensure the customer achieves the best results. We are now seeking a skilled electrician to join our growing installation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on larger projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- A full and valid driver's license is required.
Qualifications (preferred/required):
- City & Guilds Electrical Installation Certificate Level 3 or Above
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification
- Part P installation qualification
- Inspection & Testing qualification
Location: Within 60 miles of Birmingham
Experience: Experience as an electrician is required, either experience installing air source heating systems (minimum 6 months) or experience installing solar PV/battery storage systems (minimum 6 months).
Remuneration: Starting salary of £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience, this may increase for a successful candidate). Introduction of a performance-based bonus further to a successful probationary period. Company vehicle to be included.
