I’m supporting a fast-growing civil engineering contractor on the appointment of a Planner to join their team, working on energy and infrastructure projects across the UK, with an initial focus in Norfolk. This is a business that genuinely invests in its people, offering a supportive but ambitious environment, clear progression, and the opportunity to grow alongside major national projects.
The role will involve:
- Developing and managing realistic, contract-compliant construction programmes
- Producing and maintaining NEC4 programmes
- Monitoring site progress, identifying delays, and supporting mitigation strategies
- Supporting compensation events, variations, and contractual claims
- Working closely with site, commercial, and preconstruction teams
- Contributing to tender programmes and mentoring junior planners
About you:
- Fluent in NEC4 Programmes
- Experience with ASTA Powerproject
- Experience as a Planner is desirable (engineering, site, or project background welcomed)
- Good understanding of construction contracts
