You'll be working with owners of renewable energy projects (such as investment funds, asset managers and developers) to support them in finding the best route to market for them.
- Take full ownership of your business development pipeline, delivering value to clients through a relationship-focused sales process.
- Develop or build upon an in-depth understanding of the UK power market and use this expertise to deliver value to our clients.
- Build strong, genuine client relationships through phone, in-person meetings and networking at industry events. Everything we do is focused on a win-win.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
- Relationship focused with strong commercial acumen, able to deliver outstanding results for clients and exceed sales targets.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to win enterprise level accounts - not necessarily quickly, but thoroughly where you've created long term, valuable relationships for both parties.
- 2+ years of business development experience with a proven track record.
- You don't have to have direct experience in the energy industry, but if you do or you've specifically worked with power purchase agreements we'd like to hear from you.
- An excellent communicator through phone, video calls, email and in-person meetings, with experience of pitching to company directors and above.
- Motivated and driven to deliver the best service possible to our clients and develop long-term relationships.
- Confident with presenting complex data sets to deliver high-level insights and analytics to key clients.
- Based in Bristol or can conveniently commute in 4 days a week.
- Passionate about sustainability and accelerating the journey to net-zero.
