The position
We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient ServiceNow Platform Manager to lead the governance, development, and optimization of our ServiceNow environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the platform delivers maximum value to the business, aligns with enterprise architecture, and supports digital transformation initiatives.
Reporting to the Global IT Service Delivery Director (Group & Digital) you\’ll need to be proactive and autonomous as you take on a team responsible for delivering both major transformation and business as usual services. You\’ll lead the vision and roadmap for ServiceNow and will ensure that capabilities align with IT and business strategy. You\’ll build deep relationships with stakeholders, particularly the Global VP of IT Operations, where you will be instrumental in supporting the transformation of IT capabilities across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Ownership & Strategy
- Own the ServiceNow platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
- Define and enforce platform governance, standards, and best practices.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Team Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead a team of ServiceNow developers, administrators, and analysts.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and implementation partners.
- Oversee resource planning, performance management, and skills development.
- Solution Delivery & Innovation
- Drive the design, development, and deployment of new ServiceNow modules and enhancements.
- Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and other modules.
- Promote automation, self-service, and user experience improvements.
- Platform Operations & Compliance
- Ensure platform stability, performance, and availability.
- Oversee upgrades, patching, and release management.
- Maintain compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide regular updates, dashboards, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Champion ServiceNow adoption and continuous improvement across the organization.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing ServiceNow as a platform owner or lead architect.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and integration capabilities.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS-ITSM, CAD) are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and enterprise service management principles.
- Knowledge of scripting (JavaScript), REST/SOAP APIs, and data modelling.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in large-scale ServiceNow implementations or transformations.
- Background in IT operations, digital services, or enterprise architecture.
- A conversational, or better, level of Spanish would be a very strong advantage.
