Key Accountabilities
Completed works in compliance with O&M Contractual requirements, which typically included completion of 6 and 12 month maintenance checks, bearing lubrication, functional test and cleaning. In addition, returning turbine to service after fault conditions will involve mechanical and electrical fault finding, fault resolution, component replacement and functional testing.
Knowledge
Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems maintenance
Skills
Good communications, technical fault finding, practical use of tools
Experience
Ideally previous experience of wind turbine maintenance
Qualifications
Minimum NVQ Level 3 Mechanical or electrical
