Seeking a recent graduate with a strong understanding of renewable energy. We are seeking a Project Analyst Associate to support our Origination and Development teams, with a specific focus on projects in Europe and the US. The role combines data analysis, project support and stakeholder coordination. You will help progress land opportunities, manage project information systems, and support due diligence for new solar, wind and battery storage projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone fluent in Italian and English who is eager to build their expertise in renewable energy and play a key role in expanding a portfolio of utility-scale projects across Italy.
Role responsibilities:
- Analyse project data and legal documentation to support the origination of new Italian sites
- Manage and update project trackers, databases, and internal project management systems
- Maintain and evolve project plans in collaboration with third-party suppliers and internal teams
- Support the land due diligence process, including reviewing contracts and legal searches
- Maintain and update GIS mapping systems with project and land information
- Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for stakeholders and senior management
- Liaise with Italian landowners, consultants, and local authorities, ensuring effective communication with the wider team
- Assist the wider Development team on discrete tasks when required
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional, motivated self-starter with a collaborative approach
- Energetic and eager to contribute to new projects and ideas
Experience/knowledge:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g. STEM, geography, environmental science, engineering, business, sustainability)
- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) project management software and GIS mapping systems
- Knowledge of the Italian energy market or land acquisition processes is an advantage
- Previous experience in project support, legal administration, or paralegal work is beneficial, but not required
