About the role
We are seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our Engineering Team. You will support the evaluation and delivery of Onshore Wind, Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in the UK, Italy and the US and other countries wherever applicable.
Key responsibilities
- Support all stages of project development from site evaluation through to pre-construction.
- Identify, manage, and report on project risks.
- Work cross-departmentally with grid, planning, and commercial teams.
- Liaise with in-house colleagues and external consultants (technical, environmental).
- Manage environmental, technical, and supporting commercial interactions.
- Understand planning constraints and their impact on renewable system design.
- Conduct all related activities related to initiating project design (e.g., constraints analysis, GIS, and using other related platforms), including technology selection, producing engineering layouts, and energy yield simulations.
- Prepare briefing reports for internal decision-making.

Experience/knowledge
- Essential: Degree in related Engineering discipline. (Electrical, Power, Renewable Engineering ideally)
- Desirable: Knowledge of the UK, IT and US planning system and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations.
- Desirable: Knowledge in project management and risk management.
- Software literacy: Microsoft Office, knowledge in QGIS, AutoCAD, PVSys, WindPro are important, however, successful candidate shall be trained on these.
- Fluent in English & Italiano.
