About us

We develop, build, own and operate renewable energy projects across the island of Ireland, with a portfolio covering onshore wind, solar and battery energy storage (BESS). The island's electricity system operates as a single all-island market, and our projects and people work across it. From our Belfast office, this programme develops the graduates we expect to help lead the island's energy transition.

The programme

This is a two-year, full-time rotational position for graduates who want to understand the whole clean energy business before choosing a specialty. You will complete three eight-month rotations across our core functions, shaped around your strengths and interests:

  • Development: siting, planning, grid connection and the commercial groundwork that takes a project from map to shovel-ready
  • Engineering & Construction: technical design, contractor coordination and delivering projects in the field
  • Finance & Asset Management: investment analysis, project finance and the commercial performance of our operating fleet

You will finish the programme with a permanent placement on the team where you have found the strongest fit, along with a network and a company-wide understanding that most professionals take years to build.

What you will do

  • Join each team as a full contributor, with real deliverables and ownership from your first week
  • Support live projects through analysis, modelling, applications, technical reviews and site visits across the island
  • Present your work to senior leadership at the end of each rotation
  • Learn directly from experienced developers, engineers and financiers, with a dedicated mentor throughout
  • Build the cross-functional fluency that accelerates careers in this industry

What we are looking for

  • A degree (2.1 or above) in engineering, environmental science, economics, finance, business or a related field
  • A genuine interest in clean energy and the transition to a decarbonised economy
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data, spreadsheets and learning new tools
  • Clear communication and the confidence to work across every part of a business
  • Adaptability: three rotations mean three new teams, new problems and steep learning curves
  • The right to work in the UK
  • No prior energy experience is required. Internships, placements, research or campus involvement that show initiative are an advantage. We hire for aptitude and attitude.

What we offer

  • £35,000 - £45,000 starting salary, depending on experience
  • Hybrid working from our Belfast office
  • A structured two-year programme with a dedicated mentor and visibility to senior leadership
  • Guaranteed permanent placement on successful completion
  • Pension contributions, generous annual leave and wellbeing support
  • Relocation support for candidates moving to Belfast
  • A front-row seat to the energy transition of an entire island

How to apply

Apply with your CV and a short note telling us which rotation interests you most and why. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

We are an equal opportunities employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team, and we welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. Reasonable accommodations are available on request at any stage of the recruitment process.
