About the Job:

Company Description

Renewabl turns the complex, manual job of buying renewable energy into something you can actually see, track and act on, down to the hour. The problem we're solving: renewable energy buyers are stuck with fragmented, manual processes and no clear view of their own data. We give them one place to see all of it, plus the confidence to make better procurement calls, right down to an hourly Carbon-Free Energy (CFE) score. We're scaling fast across the UK, Europe and APAC, and building the team and the operational backbone to match. Today, more than 120 sellers and suppliers use Renewabl to open up over 20 TWh of renewable supply, and some of the world's biggest energy buyers run live tenders with us. Eight awards and six accelerator programmes in, we're really just getting started.

The Role

Salary: £65K - £75K
Location: London 2 days per week & Remote

We’re looking for a Product Manager to help build the future of the Renewabl platform. In this role, you will own the roadmap, balancing customer needs, commercial priorities, and engineering capacity to ensure that we’re building the right thing at the right time. You’ll work closely with customers, domain experts, and the engineering team to understand complex problems, identify opportunities, and shape the products that we build. This is an exciting opportunity to join an impactful product at an early stage, giving you the autonomy to directly shape how the core platform is built as we scale.

What you will do

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap
    • Drive the product roadmap by turning customer commitments and business priorities into scoped, sequenced, and deliverable work.
    • Own your product domain, building deep expertise in the energy trading and tracking industry to become the trusted authority both internally and externally.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends to identify new opportunities for the platform.
  • Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Shape product direction by working closely with Engineering, domain experts, and leadership to prioritise the features that will deliver the most value.
    • Distill complex business and customer requirements into clear, achievable product features and coherent specification documents.
    • Guide cross-functional teams through key technical milestones to drive the overall product vision forward.
  • Customer & Market Insights
    • Work directly with customers, internal teams, and industry experts to gather insights, clarify requirements, and validate product direction.
    • Navigate an evolving industry to address fragmented, manual infrastructure and transform it into seamless digital solutions.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for someone proactive who thrives when solving complex problems in an evolving industry. You should be highly collaborative, comfortable guiding technical teams, and eager to take deep ownership of a scaling product domain.

Must have

  • 5 or more years of experience as a Product Manager for an enterprise SaaS product.
  • Proven experience working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams to drive product vision and define requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A strong knack for execution, with a demonstrated ability to distill complex requirements into deliverable milestones.
  • Comfort in a startup environment or small-team setting where priorities can move and evolve quickly.

Nice to have

  • Domain expertise in energy, sustainability, procurement, carbon accounting, or regulated enterprise environments.

Why join Renewabl

  • Work on a real problem. We started Renewabl to fix a gap we saw every day: companies were buying renewable energy without knowing when it was clean or what impact it had.
  • Work alongside people who know the market. Our leadership team brings 80+ years of combined experience from Shell, BP, Schneider Electric, Zeigo, and South Pole. You'd be in regular contact with the founders.
  • Real ownership from day one, working directly with enterprise clients.
  • The setup: hybrid working with 3 days per week from our central London office, training budget, gym membership, private health check-ups, plus startup flexibility.
  • A company on a roll. Recent recognition includes winning Innovation Zero Awards 2026, Tech Impact Awards, and Climate Fintech Startup of the Year.

Interview process

  • 1. Introduction (30 minutes): A call with the CEO and Head of Engineering to get to know each other, discuss the role, and answer your questions.
  • 2. Product Interview (60 minutes): A deep dive including a discussion around a real-world product scenario.
  • 3. Final Interview (30 minutes): A final conversation with leadership and the engineering team.

* Note: All interviews are conducted remotely via Google Meet.
