The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.
Collaborator should be able to evaluate full PMICs through bench silicon validation techniques, including the hardware and software setup preparation. As part of silicon validation and delivery of results, the collaborator shall prepare evaluation plans for each specific product and provide documents to report results within planned and agreed time scales.
The collaborator will be part of a Silicon Validation Engineering team reporting directly to a Group Manager or Team Lead. It will require closely working with other colleagues, meaning that a teamwork mentality is very welcome. The collaborator is expected to be able to develop/improve existing techniques and enhance bench silicon validation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s (or in progress) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Knowledge of Power Management (PMICs), with interest in post-silicon bench validation
- Knowledge of basic lab instruments and measurement methods, mainly for DCDCs and LDOs
- Ability to debug any unexpected issue and identify root cause
- Good proficiency with Python programming with particular use for lab automation hardware environments
- Ability to work with instructions from higher experienced team members
- Good English verbal and written communication skills
- Goals-oriented and able to deliver on-time results under tight schedules
Nice-to-have:
- Master’s in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Knowledge of Embedded Systems, including C/C++
- Ability to select/propose innovative methods/techniques to improve existing solutions
- Support colleagues from other teams, such as Design Engineers, Test/Quality/Product Engineers
- Board level analog and digital circuit design expertise for PCB schematic design (Altium)
- Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity within multisite and multicultural environments
- Flexible to undertake occasional international travel
