Work with the product definition and marketing team to develop a specification that gives the product a competitive advantage in the IC market. Develop the product’s system architecture to optimize performance, power, and die size. Specify the requirements of individual IPs used in the product. Work with the project manager to define a development plan for design, verification, and layout. Develop a comprehensive analog and mixed-signal verification plan. Lead a high-quality product development by ensuring that best practices are followed, through thorough peer reviews, and detailed documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on test development, product engineering, bench evaluation, and quality assurance. Mentor and develop your team.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree + 15 years of experience in analog and mixed-signal design
- Fully competent in all common aspects of analog design
- Design experience in precision analog circuitry
- Design experience in power management circuits and high voltage circuitry (BCD processes)
- Ability to develop system architectures
- Knowledge of analog circuit modeling and AMS simulations
- Knowledge of all aspects of IC development beyond analog design to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams: understanding the basic digital design flow, packaging, test engineering, quality assurance, and product engineering
- Ability to see the big picture while not losing track of details
- Excellent communication skills to operate in a global environment
- Coaching, mentoring, and development of team members
