Job Description

Work with the product definition and marketing team to develop a specification that gives the product a competitive advantage in the IC market.

  • Develop the product's system architecture to optimize performance, power, and die size.
  • Specify the requirements of individual IPs used in the product.
  • Work with the project manager to define a development plan for design, verification, and layout.
  • Develop a comprehensive analog and mixed-signal verification plan.
  • Lead a high-quality product development by ensuring that best practices are followed, through thorough peer reviews, and detailed documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on test development, product engineering, bench evaluation, and quality assurance.
  • Mentor and develop your team.

Qualifications

  • Fully competent in all common aspects of analog design.
  • Design experience in precision analog circuitry.
  • Design experience in power management circuits and high voltage circuitry (BCD processes).
  • Ability to develop system architectures.
  • Knowledge of analog circuit modeling and AMS simulations.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of IC development beyond analog design to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams: understanding the basic digital design flow, packaging, test engineering, quality assurance, and product engineering.
  • Ability to see the big picture while not losing track of details.
  • Excellent communication skills to operate in a global environment.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and development of team members.
