The Role

Once trained, you will support the radio hire and workshop function, helping to ensure equipment is prepared, tested, deployed, and returned efficiently. Key Responsibilities (Once Trained)

  • Support stores and hire administration, including checking in returned hire equipment and booking out basic hires using an internal system
  • Clean, label, and test two‑way radio equipment
  • Assist with radio configuration and preparation when required
  • Support onsite de‑installations alongside company drivers
  • Load and unload company vans (manual handling and some heavy lifting involved)
  • Prepare equipment for deployment, including cleaning and labelling radios
  • Provide support for out‑of‑hours calls when required
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment
