The role

We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to help accelerate Rendesco’s growth across the UK. Reporting to the Head of New Build Sales, you’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing high-value deals in the fast-growing low-carbon heating sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a strategic, target-driven role and wants to be part of a business delivering real environmental impact.

Location: Hybrid (Working from Home) Scotland— travel for client visits and meetings as required

About you

  • You’re a confident relationship builder and natural deal-closer who enjoys working in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment.
  • Proven experience selling into the new build housing market
  • Strong B2B sales track record with a results-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles from lead generation through to close
  • Confident presenter with strong proposal and tender writing skills
  • Comfortable using CRM systems to manage pipeline and performance

Desirable:

  • Experience in the heat network and/or heat pump industry
  • Knowledge of new build procurement processes and tender frameworks
  • Ability to analyse sales and market data to drive commercial decisions
  • Experience using Salesforce
