We’re looking for a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic London team and take a leading role in delivering high-profile projects across the globe.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a Senior Bridge Engineer, you’ll not only be designing cutting-edge structures but also helping to drive business growth and manage multidisciplinary teams. Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be involved in:
- Leading and undertaking assignments across the UK and internationally; delivering on time, on budget, and to the highest standards
- Undertaking structural design and analysis using high-end analysis and design software across a broad range of structural types and using various international standards
- Assisting in the management of the design process that may include other related design disciplines
- Coordinating design as part of an internal team and liaising with external associated professionals and our clients
- Managing project time, budgets, and resources, ensuring everything stays on track
- Overseeing and mentoring junior engineers, supporting their professional development and Chartership progress
- Collaborating with internal and external teams in a cross-functional environment
We need a strong technical engineer with leadership capabilities who is ready to make an impact on some of the world’s most exciting and complex projects. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- A Chartered Civil Engineer qualification with a post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject
- Working knowledge of structural processes and design, with a particular emphasis on data interpretation, design & analysis, construction and advanced numerical modelling
- Extensive knowledge of Eurocodes and other national and international industry standards, contracts, methodologies, procedures and best practice
- Experience working on major bridge construction and modern bridge erection works and construction techniques would be considered advantageous
- Experience with structural analysis software like LUSAS, Midas, RM Bridge
- Strong communication skills, with a talent for producing clear, high-quality written work
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, handling changing priorities while keeping quality high
- A collaborative approach, with a focus on successful delivery for our clients
