We’re looking for a Principal Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic London team and take a leading role in delivering high-profile projects across the globe.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and managing assignments across the UK and internationally; delivering on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
- Delivering innovative engineering solutions, leading design and analysis for a variety of structural types using relevant standards.
- Managing project time, budgets, and resources, ensuring everything stays on track.
- Overseeing and mentoring junior engineers, supporting their professional development and Chartership progress.
- Supporting business development by contributing to proposals and developing client relationships.
- Collaborating with internal and external teams in a cross-functional environment.
What We’re Looking For
- A Chartered Civil Engineer qualification with a post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject.
- Extensive experience in the design and construction engineering of long span bridges such as segmental, arch, extradosed and cable stayed bridges (advantageous).
- In-depth knowledge of Eurocodes, national and international standards, and structural design processes.
- Experience in people management, mentoring, and driving team development.
- Experience with structural analysis software like LUSAS, Midas.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for producing clear, high-quality written work.
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, handling changing priorities while keeping quality high.
- A collaborative approach, with a focus on successful delivery for our clients.
