You'll be a key part of our delivery team, contributing to the design and analysis of complex structures, while developing your technical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality engineering solutions and support project delivery across major UK and international assignments.
  • Work on the design, analysis and checking of structures across sectors - from bridges and tunnels to retaining walls and marine works.
  • Undertake calculations, use a variety of design software and apply international design codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, external consultants, and clients.
  • Contribute to managing time, budgets, and project resources efficiently.
  • Adopt the standardisation and peer review of technical work to uphold design excellence.
  • Make positive contributions to health and safety on projects and across your work priorities by reducing and managing associated risk.

Qualifications

  • A degree in civil or structural engineering (postgrad qualifications welcome).
  • A proactive approach to become a Chartered Engineer (ICE, IStructE).
  • Experience designing complex structures (foundations, bridges, marine structures, etc.) using steel, concrete, or composite materials.
  • A good understanding of structural analysis, construction methods, and advanced numerical modelling.
  • Familiarity with Eurocodes and international design standards.
  • Proficiency in finite element analysis software such as LUSAS, Midas.
  • A collaborative approach with excellent communication and writing skills.
