About the Role
We are currently building a dedicated and long-term Field Service Team for the installation, commissioning, shutdowns, maintenance, and replacement activities of Gas Turbines LM2500 / LM6000 (Mark VIe systems). This team will be actively deployed on a continuous basis across our global projects, including the Middle East, Asia, North/Central/South America, and Europe, supporting critical operations in diverse and dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Directly execute and supervise the installation, calibration, and commissioning of unit control panels and protection systems for heavy machinery (turbines, compressors, pumps, generators).
- Auxiliary Systems: Put into service various auxiliary systems, including Fire Fighting, Gas detection, Anti-icing, Steam regulation, and Anti-surge systems.
- Operations & Testing: Perform machinery commissioning and client-required tests (first start-up, load, and performance tests) utilizing UCP and DCS controllers.
- Software Control: Analyze, modify, and align control software to ensure seamless integration with other project systems.
- Technical Documentation: Interpret and effectively use technical documentation, including layouts, P&IDs, instrument lists, and control diagrams.
- Reporting & Digital Tools: Prepare technical reports (DOR, FSR) and utilize company E-tools (EDM, TCE, Fieldworks).
- Stakeholder Relations: Maintain and manage professional relationships with clients and machinery manufacturers.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards across all activities.
Qualifications
- Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline. (Significant, direct field experience may be substituted for formal education);
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, Technical Advisor.
