What You Will Do
- An experienced and qualified (level 3) Van Technician is required to work at one of our customers' sites (Reading Borough Council) to provide a dedicated and professional service.
- Working 40 hours between early shifts and Saturdays when required.
- Paying up to Β£21.00 per hour for a 40-hour week plus overtime at time and a half for any required Saturday mornings.
- Duties include:
- Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer's procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
- Ensure repairs are carried out in accordance with Renault Standard Times using Renault Special Tools where appropriate.
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
- Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
- Work with the parts team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted to the vehicles.
Required Knowledge & Experience
- LCV Technician - City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent.
- Completed an apprenticeship in LCV / HGV industry or equivalent experience.
- Experience within the commercial vehicle industry - Vans.
