Van Technician Supervisor

Our prestigious and newly opened Van Centre based in Tipton is currently looking for a qualified Van Technician Supervisor with excellent diagnostic and mechanical skills to work a set shift: Working 45 hours Mon-Fri on an alternating shift pattern of 07.00 – 16.30 and 08.30 – 18.00 with alternate Saturday\’ mornings Paying to £54,000 £23.00pr hr) dependent on Van Technical skills with Supervisory experience Flexibility will be required Key Responsibilities & Tasks: * Supervise the shift technicians and co-ordinate workload * Liaise with the Van Centre Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI\’s etc * Diagnosis and repair of vehicles * Servicing of vehicles to a high standard * Participation in call out and breakdown rota – if/when required * Ability to use diagnostic equipment * Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required * Complete job cards clearly and accurately Essential Qualifications and Knowledge * C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification * Electrical and Mechanical skills and experience * Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment * Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage Benefits: * 25 days rising with service. * Pension scheme * Healthcare Scheme * Employee discounts across retailers, cinemas, ++++ * Cycle to work scheme * Discount on Arval Contract Hire Vehicles Renault Truck Commercials Ltd is an equal opportunity employer
