Van Technician

Attraction Bonus £2000 for direct applicants only (non agency) An experienced and qualified (level 3) Van Technician is required to work at one of our customers site (Reading Borough Council) to provide a dedicated and professional service. Working 40 hours between on earlies:- 06.00-14.30 and Sat\’s 06.00-12.00 when required Paying to £21.00 pr hr for a 40 hour week plus overtime at time and a half and for any required Saturday mornings Duties: * Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner. * Ensure repairs are carried out in accordance with Renault Standard Times using Renault Special Tools where appropriate. * Assist in the fault diagnosis process. * Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair. * Work with the parts team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted to the vehicles. Required knowledge & experience: * LCV Technician – City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent * Completed an apprenticeship in LCV / HGV industry or equivalent experience * Experience within the commercial vehicle industry – Vans.
