Parts & Service Advisor β Tipton Van Centre
45 hours a week, 3 week rotating pattern:
- Monday to Friday: 0700 β 1630
- 0730 β 1700
- 0830 β 1800
Paying between Β£31,000 and Β£35,000 dependent on previous HGV dealership experience.
Operating within the newly opened Van Centre (Hobart Rd, DY4 9LE), you will be part of a team developing and sustaining superior performance in Parts with some service reception tasks.
Core Responsibilities:- Parts:
- Ensure customer orders are taken and supplied to the correct specification.
- Ensure that procedures are correctly carried out for the ordering of goods and their receipt.
- Maintain an efficient filing and retrieval system.
- Ensure that the parts area is kept clean and tidy, and that equipment is in good condition reflecting the image of an efficient and modern Retail Dealer point.
- Ensure the Dealer point works to the criteria laid down in the Company Health and Safety policy.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when must be worn.
- Service:
- Ensure when working on the Front of House reception that customers are greeted professionally and with a friendly demeanor when booking in their vehicle, relaying back costs and information from their service and inspections etc.
- Updating the customer throughout with timelines and costs where applicable.
- Ensure that the service area is kept clean and tidy, and that equipment is in good condition reflecting the image of an efficient and modern Retail Dealer point.
- Ensure the Dealer point works to the criteria laid down in the Company Health and Safety policy.
- Knowledge of vehicle parts essential with dealership front of house experience.
- To be able to competently use desktop PC and associated software & systems.
