Join Our Sales Team at Renault Watford. Renault Retail Group is looking for an experienced Business Manager / F&I Transaction Manager to join our dealership based at Watford Business Park (WD18). You'll be joining a high-performing site representing Renault, Dacia and approved used vehicles, with strong enquiry levels, consistent stock availability, and a well-established customer base. This is a key role within the sales function, working closely with the General Sales Manager. You will support and guide a team of Sales Executives, contributing to both performance and customer experience across the dealership.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of the finance and insurance function, supporting both customers and the wider sales team.
- Structure and present finance, insurance, and add-on products in a clear, compliant manner to maximise customer value and dealership profitability.
- Support and coach a team of Sales Executives, including second-facing customers and assisting with deal progression where required.
- Work closely with the General Sales Manager to maintain strong finance and insurance penetration levels and overall commercial performance.
- Act as a visible and supportive presence on the showroom floor, helping to guide customers through the finance process and improve conversion.
- Manage the end-to-end finance journey, including submitting applications, securing approvals, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and completed on time.
- Build effective relationships with lending partners and finance providers to secure competitive funding solutions for customers.
- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies, with clear and transparent communication of financial commitments.
- Support vehicle part-exchange valuations and overall deal structure.
- Monitor deal progress, documentation, and outcomes to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across all transactions.
- Maintain well-structured daily processes, including pipeline management, diary control, and system updates, ensuring deals are progressed and completed efficiently.
- Support reporting, audits, and ongoing improvements within the sales and finance function.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Business Manager, Transaction Manager, F&I Manager or Sales Controller role within a main dealer environment.
- A strong understanding of finance and insurance products, compliance requirements, and dealership processes.
- Experience supporting or mentoring Sales Executives within a retail sales environment.
- A structured, organised approach to managing deals, customer interactions, and daily workload.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build confidence with both customers and colleagues.
- Confidence working in a target-driven environment, with a focus on both performance and customer outcomes.
Licence Requirement
A full UK driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles) is essential for this role, to meet company insurance requirements and support vehicle demonstrations and customer test drives.
Hours & Pay
Working pattern (rota basis): 5 days per week, 4 weekdays (8:00am–6:00pm), Saturdays (8:30am–5:00pm), 1 in 3 Sundays (10:00am–4:00pm).
Pay: £31,354 pa basic salary OTE £62,700 pa (uncapped and achievable). Company car provided.
