Renault London West is seeking an experienced Sales Controller to join our busy dealership on the Great West Road (TW8).
This is a deputy-manager grade role supporting the General Sales Manager and Head of Business. You will help lead the F&I performance, sales process standards, and day-to-day coaching of our Used Car Sales Team, ensuring customers receive a smooth, informed and professional experience.
The main duties include:
- Stacking deals, second-facing customers when needed, and coaching Sales Executives to maximise finance, insurance and add-on performance
- Working closely with management to maintain strong F&I penetration levels and compliance
- Carrying out part-exchange appraisals and valuations
- Helping identify and resolve sales-flow or vehicle-logistics bottlenecks, working with preparation, smart repair and handover teams to keep deals on track
- Supporting morning team meetings by sharing Group and manufacturer updates (offers, programmes, incentives and process changes)
- Assisting with audits of the sales process and supporting other operational projects as required
Previous experience with Renault or Dacia is helpful but not essential. We welcome candidates with Sales Controller or Assistant Sales Manager experience from any volume brand. We are seeking applicants currently operating in a main-dealer role such as Business Manager, Transaction Manager, F&I Manager or Sales Controller.
Working Hours & Rota
Minimum 45 hrs/week, 2-week variable rota (5 days / 6 days)
- Mon-Fri: 8:00am-6:00pm Week 1 start: 8:00am Week 2 start: 8:30am
- Saturday: 8:30am-5:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am-4:00pm
- Breaks: 1 hour Mon-Sat; Sunday is a shorter continuous shift
- Flex: Occasional rota adjustments to support work-life balance (e.g., a full weekend off)
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Brings confidence, professionalism and strong communication skills
- Has a successful background in motor-retail F&I or Sales Control
- Is organised, consistent and enjoys supporting others to achieve their best
- Can step naturally into deputy-manager responsibilities when required
- Holds a Full UK driving licence (manual & automatic) essential for test drives, insurance and ECOP eligibility
