We’re looking for a helpful and organised Vehicle Delivery Driver to support our Used Car team at our flagship Renault London West dealership in Brentford. You’ll play an important part in keeping our operations running smoothly by moving vehicles safely and efficiently between sites.
What You’ll Do
- Collecting and delivering vehicles between our Brentford dealership and our Prep Centre in Hayes, as well as occasional transfers across other Renault Retail Group sites in Greater London.
- Driving vehicles using trade plates, ensuring correct plates are used for every assignment.
- Inspecting vehicles before and after movement, noting any damage and reporting concerns promptly.
- Keeping vehicle keys, documents, and receipts organised and accurate.
- Recording VAT fuel receipts for reconciliation and managing odometer readings.
- Supporting customer handovers, including clear communication and completing basic inspection steps with colleagues or customers.
- Maintaining safe working practices in line with dealership and HSE guidance.
- Providing occasional holiday or event cover, including helping manage the on-site car park, guiding customers to parking spaces, moving stock vehicles safely, and keeping parking areas clear, tidy, and accessible for service, parts, and delivery vehicles.
What We’re Looking For
- Calm, professional, and comfortable working in a role where accuracy and road awareness are essential.
- Experience in a trade plate or dealership vehicle movement role is strongly preferred.
- Clear and confident communication when interacting with colleagues and customers.
- Good knowledge of Greater London and the Home Counties road network, plus an understanding of TfL transport routes.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when checking for vehicle damage or missing items.
- Reliability and punctuality, with experience working to daily delivery or multi-drop schedules.
- A smartphone (Android 8.0 / iOS 11 or newer) with an up-to-date satnav app.
Licence Requirement
A full UK driving licence (manual) is essential. It must have been held for at least 5 years, with no more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements (IN, DD, DG, DR, CD, MR, TT). Candidates must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.
Hours & Pay
£25,396.80 per annum, paid monthly. 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday. 1-hour paid lunch break per day.
