Renault Retail Group is a national network of automotive dealerships representing the brands Renault, Dacia and Alpine. We are Renault’s largest dealer group selling 1 in every 5 Renault in the UK and we are 100% owned by Renault.
The main purpose of this Dealership Service Driver role is to support our Service Department with collection and deliveries of customers’ service vehicles to their home / office within the market area of the dealership.
Back at the dealership you will be working to control and coordinate customer vehicles as they arrive on site for their regular servicing. This includes maintaining the car park to a high standard at all times; i.e. clean, tidy and fully accessible for customers, colleagues, VIPs, service providers, vehicle transporters, delivery vans, etc.
Duties of our Dealership Service Driver include carrying out damage check inspections for all received vehicles, parking cars safely and securely in designated areas, collating vehicle mileage data, applying Covid-secure measures (using the provided PPE, cleaning equipment, protective covers, etc.) when dealing with people, handling vehicle touch-points and paperwork, and providing a first-class customer experience.
Candidates must have a strong attention to detail in order to identify faults, damage or defects on vehicles, objects and premises. You must be able to interact with customers and staff in a professional, courteous and cheerful manner. Candidates must also be comfortable with using public transport as there will be occasional one-way deliveries of vehicles to customers at the home or place of work.
We will prioritise candidates that have worked in similar roles at a car dealership(s) before.
A full, clean driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive a variety of vehicles in keeping with your licence entitlement. Candidates that are progressed beyond the ‘apply’ stage will be asked to provide their DVLA Check summary.
This Dealership Service Driver role will operate Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with one hour lunch break. 40 hours per week
In return we provide a £28,080per annum basic salary, with immediate start date available.
