Are you passionate about providing an outstanding level of customer service? We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Service Manager who is highly organised and efficient to join our friendly team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with organising and controlling the activities of the Service Department so that it provides the highest level of customer service, achieves its annual budget and complies with all relevant RRG and RUK policy and procedures and all relevant legislation.
- Support the maximisation of manufacturer quality performance measures and associated rewards.
- Assist in managing departmental profitability by ensuring direct profit achieves or exceeds budget, and by supporting workshop WIP and workshop debt in line with budget expectations.
- Oversee the volume of work within the workshop and promote the sale of accessories, parts, extended warranties, new and used vehicles.
- Provide support to ensure full compliance with all manufacturer warranty systems.
- Coach and support service team members to help them achieve their objectives while delivering performance that meets or exceeds departmental targets.
- Ensure department complies with H&S regulations, Renault 10 Mandatory Rules and 74 Key Requirements.
- Ensure that the RRG Service Customer Process is fully implemented – RRG Service Way.
Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm & Saturday am on a rota (overtime paid)
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in an Assistant Service Manager role
- Management / supervisory experience
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Business acumen
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of CDK Drive, Kerridge, SAF
- A clean UK driving licence (essential)
