Part Identification Technician

We are seeking three Part Identification Technicians to join our Quality Control team on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2027. Opportunities are available across our Day Shift, Night Shift, and Weekend Shift teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate identification and traceability of high value components, supporting operational excellence and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out part identification on high value components using a variety of automatic and manual equipment.
  • Apply identification methods in accordance with engineering drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure component traceability is maintained to the required standard.
  • Update the ERP system upon completion of tasks.
  • Support compliance with financial regulations through accurate part marking and reporting.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and adhere to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Strong reading and writing skills, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience working within an engineering environment.
  • Good PC skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Team player with a positive, "can do" attitude.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience operating Keyence laser engraving equipment is desirable; specific training will be provided.
