As a Procurement Apprentice you will be working towards your CIPS qualification whilst helping our various internal stakeholders optimise their budgets with their chosen suppliers. You will be completing a Procurement and Supply chain apprenticeship, level to be confirmed depending on experience.
Main responsibilities include:
- Daily working on SAP (Systems, Application and Products) Workflow, understanding stakeholders’ needs and ensuring quotes reflect the business needs along with liaising with our central provider, RNTBCI (Renault-Nissan Business Centre India).
- Management of internal clients, SAER (online purchasing system) users and material codes.
- Setting up new suppliers in the SAP system working in partnership with our head office in Paris.
- Managing and recording material code homologation process.
- Ensuring that all relevant supplier documents are saved for audits.
- Supporting Supplier Contracts and Performance Reviews.
- Will be a data privacy ambassador.
- Ensuring that all supplier savings are regularly reported, referenced for audits and aligned with future budget reviews.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Excellent Digital, web & data driven literacy – ability to use various tools of technology and web-based solutions, above standard skills with PowerPoint and Excel. Analytical and methodical way of dealing with and presenting data. Ability to work in a small team and within the wider network of the company.
Ideal prior experience:
- Experience in reporting and data analysis.
- Strong ability to work on spreadsheets, SharePoint & Teams.
- Able to study on the CIPS development programme working towards a purchasing qualification.
- Liaison with external and internal stakeholders.
- An understanding of the contract process would be beneficial.

This is a 24-month Fixed Term Contract. Throughout your time with us, you will build key skills and a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate that you meet the key competencies to progress your career with us. At the end of the training programme, depending upon your performance and the availability of suitable vacancies, you may be offered a permanent role. We believe in hybrid working and flexibility and operate a minimum of two days in the office with the remaining three days remote or office working.
