We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Regulations Specialist to play a key role within our Finance team. This position will lead strategic initiatives within the Financial Regulations environment, driving improved understanding and application of Cost Cap regulations across the business. You will act as a subject matter expert, ensuring compliance while helping embed Cost Cap considerations into wider decision-making through effective partnering, training and insight.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic Cost Cap initiatives to improve reporting, forecasting and business insight
- Act as a subject matter expert on Financial Regulations and Cost Cap, translating complex requirements for non-finance stakeholders
- Support evaluation and communication of new regulatory developments and their business impact
- Partner closely with FP&A, Business Partnering and Accounting teams to challenge budgets and forecasts
- Assist with regulatory submissions, including coordination of supporting documentation and administration of reporting tools
- Deliver training and workshops to upskill teams and improve organisational understanding of Cost Cap
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making and enhance financial performance
- Contribute to ongoing compliance, audit and reporting activities
What you’ll bring
- Strong technical finance background (ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualified or equivalent experience)
- Experience in financial accounting or a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with financial systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI)
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Previous exposure to Formula One Financial Regulations is desirable
