Our client, a new Private Members Club with a venue that offers a unique and intimate dining experience, combining exceptional middle eastern cuisine with a vibrant, creative music environment in London, England, is seeking the talents of an ambitious Chef with a minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Sous Chef in a quality restaurant operation. Candidates should have a solid culinary management background and have worked in quality restaurants in their career.

Requirements / Responsibilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers, understand reports and related correspondence, and accurately perform all essential job functions.
  • Must have a high-end quality food and beverage experience.
  • Seeking a better work/lifestyle balance in their culinary career.
  • 3 days cooking in the restaurant (Thursday to Saturday) and 2 days in a creative office-based environment.
  • Contribute to branding, marketing, and creative projects.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Responsible under the Resident Chef to direct food preparation and cooking activities.
  • Estimate food requirements and food and labour costs.
  • Ensure quality of food and portion control, assist in creating new menus and recipes, and as a very "hands on" chef, supervise and help train cooks and kitchen staff.

This excellent position offers a starting salary of 40,000.00 pounds/annually. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
