Renaissance is supporting a leading Aviation Leasing Firm located in West Sussex, UK, who seek a Portfolio Manager to join their team.

The role will see you be responsible for administering a portfolio of managed aircraft, ensuring compliance with lease agreements, overseeing financial transactions, and liaising with key stakeholders. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across technical, legal, and financial functions.

This is a hybrid working arrangement: 4 days office, and 1 day homework location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update portfolio records, ensuring accurate tracking of aircraft status and lease transactions.
  • Oversee portfolio management activities, including operational, technical, and insurance-related lease covenants.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure aircraft maintenance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with legal teams to manage contractual obligations and lease agreements.
  • Manage financial aspects such as rental invoicing, maintenance reserves, rate adjustments, and forecasting.
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes for aircraft within the portfolio.
  • Produce regular reports on portfolio performance and key metrics.

Systems & Stakeholder Management:

  • Utilise asset management software to record and report (Leasepoint).
  • Act as a point of contact for lessors, airline operators, and financial stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams on portfolio-related matters, including technical evaluations and contract negotiations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support junior team members within the portfolio management function.
  • Contribute to fleet planning and advisory projects.
  • Undertake any additional tasks as directed by senior management.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in aircraft portfolio management, aircraft contract management, aircraft leasing, or aircraft assets.
  • Strong understanding of lease structures and contractual obligations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex portfolios.
  • Proficiency in asset management software and data reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
