Renaissance is supporting an Air Navigation Services Provider (ANSP) that requires experienced Air Traffic Control Officers to join their team across an international remit. The role of an Air traffic Control Officer is to provide operational Air Traffic Control services in accordance with country of location. The ideal candidate sought to support across the multi-international-location would be candidates who hold dual-type rating of both: ADI (Aerodrome Control Instrument) and APS (Approach Control Surveillance). NB: The role would also require candidates to work across set-shift patterns on a rotation basis to meet the needs of the business and location. RESPONSIBILTIES: The safe orderly and expeditious control of aircraft operating in the airspace for which the airport has responsibility for. Attention to detail, with the ability to maintain thorough and accurate records Strong task and time management skills Ability to analyze information and draw conclusion. Monitor and regulate both ground and air traffic Provide departing flight control to other traffic and other control centres, as well as receive control of any arriving flight At times, you may need to assist in the search for possible missing aircraft Provide vital information related to weather, wind, flight paths, possible delays and runway openings and closures Alerting response teams of safety concerns or emergencies coordinate response teams Liaise with neighbouring ATC Units. Monitor the accuracy and serviceability of the ATC ground equipment and aids, advise the appropriate departments of unserviceability. Advise aircraft of the status and serviceability of airfield. Liaise with aircraft operators and Airport personnel regarding operational matters. Carry out any other duties required to maintain the overall safety and running of the Air Traffic Services operation.
