The Data Steward will play a critical role in the commercial engine of Renaissance. In this role you’ll ensure our data and processes are consistent, monitored and compliant with defined standards and governance. You will develop and retain a strong understanding of our customer data landscape and how it is utilised around the organisation focusing on maintaining a consistent single truth of our customer base and supporting and removing barriers within the order to cash workflows. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for improving data quality and implement strategies to achieve these improvements. Part of your role will also involve providing training and support to staff on best practices in data management.
- Maintain the commercial data through the ordering process including account verification and creation, ensuring our smooth transition on all orders through the sales engine.
- Develop and implement good data practice and governance, policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across the organisation.
- Promote the use of data and analytics for business decision making, collaborating with our BI team and business units to understand requirements and the translation into data models.
- Provide data insights and reports to support operational efficiencies and strategic initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for improving data quality and implement strategies to achieve these improvements.
Skills And Experience You Can Bring
- Previous knowledge and experience using databases, data management and information systems.
- Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: data transformation, control and verification of data quality and integrity, using or supporting administration of a database or similar.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to adapt and learn in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
- Belief in data-driven sales and systems thinking.
- Experience in working within a broad sales tech stack is preferable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Ability to develop and implement data standards, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in identifying opportunities for data quality improvements.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations regarding data usage.
Additional Information
Please note this is a fixed term 12-month contract. It is a hybrid position from our office in Brentford – 3 days a week in the office. Our salary range is £30,000-£40,000 depending on experience, plus some cool benefits. The closing date for this role is Friday 11th July 2025.
