We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care. We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team in Benvie for 38.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all residents are treated with respect and their rights to privacy, dignity and choice are maintained at all times.
- Provide supervision and support to care assistants, ensuring residents\’ needs are met.
- Assess residents\’ needs and contribute with the Nurse and Management in formulating care plans.
- Support the Home Manager and Nurse in charge in maintaining the highest standards of care in accordance with the care plan, National Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice.
Qualifications
- SVQ3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
- Training in Medication Administration.
- Previous experience as a senior in the care sector.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
