We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care. We are looking for an experienced Care Assistant to join our team in Berelands for 22 hours per week – nights.
Responsibilities
- Our Care Assistants are at the forefront of resident engagement, supporting and encouraging meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection.
- Night shift Care Assistants participate in person‑centred activities, particularly through 1:1 care and promoting lifestyle and wellbeing choices for all residents.
- The Care Assistant role is to ensure the highest quality, person‑centred care for all residents – supporting the delivery of each individual care plan.
- The role promotes the independence and choice of residents, making sure that their voice is heard through all elements of care and support.
- Key elements of care include assisting with personal care, promoting a positive mealtime experience to enhance nutrition and hydration, supporting meaningful connections and creating 1:1 meaningful activities.
- The role offers variety and versatility as no two shifts are the same.
Qualifications
- An essential aspect of the role is upholding the values of People, Friendly, Passionate and Inclusion.
- You will be an effective communicator and work well as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Having your SVQ2 and previous experience in the care sector is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided.
