We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Malin Court for full and part time hours - Day Shift. Our nurses are essential to creating a positive culture and environment within our care homes. They play a key role in leading the care, lifestyle, and overall wellbeing of our residents, while guiding and inspiring our teams to promote personalisation, compassion and dignity.
As a Nurse in one of our homes, your expertise will be at the forefront of supporting our residents' clinical needs whilst promoting emotional and social wellbeing. You will encourage your team to lead with a person‑centred approach to all elements of care and support, to help ensure that residents are valued, cared for, listened to, and fulfilled.
We take a practical approach to quality care with the role requiring activities such as care planning, implementing and evaluating; documenting and reporting of care through our Nourish platform to ensure that each resident's care plan is accurate, personalised, and up to date with all interactions and care needs. You will also play a vital role in mentoring and supporting colleagues and junior staff, ensuring they are supported, confident and skilled in their roles.
Administering medication with the utmost care and attention, you will follow procedures to keep our residents safe. Above all, you will promote independence and encourage residents to live with purpose and maintain meaningful connection.
Requirements:
- Qualified Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Strong knowledge of professional care standards required by the NMC code of conduct and up to date clinical practices.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and ensuring they are followed.
- Experience in a similar role and leading a multi‑disciplinary team and acting as Nurse in Charge.
