We’re looking for a dedicated team member to join our team as a Housekeeper, where you will play a key role in ensuring our residents feel comfortable and cared for every day. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for helping others, this is the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of others.

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join our team in Meadowlark for 30 hours per week. We encourage our Housekeepers to engage with residents to help them feel included and involved in the care home setting. Creating meaningful interactions with residents has positive outcomes for their wellbeing. The primary purpose is to create a united approach to creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents to thrive within.

As a Housekeeper in our care home, you will lead by example, setting high standards for cleanliness and inspiring our domestic and laundry teams to achieve exceptional results through all areas of the home. Your role involves coordinating and supervising the teams to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and efficiency in all areas, in line with COSHH regulations.

Requirements

  • Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role or sector and a solid understanding of COSHH, HACCP, and infection control procedures.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to collaborate effectively with your team while also having the confidence to work independently when needed.
  • A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • You must also be respectful of our residents' dignity and privacy, always maintaining their right to confidentiality.
